Ibushikawara has a subdued silver brilliance, which creates a unique image of Japanese culture.

Ibushikawara is being used for historic buildings such as a temple or a castle.

Koyoseiga has been a manufacturer of Ibushikawara after successive generation. The number of Ibushikawara manufacturers is very few because of the modernizing influence in Japan.

However, we are working actively and are achieving satisfactory level of performance in Ibushikawara such as one of World Heritage Site, “Himeji Castle”, cultural assets, shrines and temples, inheriting forerunners’ skills in Himeji.
